• Favourite Christmas Song?

Unfortunately I couldn't find an mp3 or even the lyrics for this song... but we might ask Paige to sing it for us, she says "Sparkle, La Lumiere de Noel, must be my favourite because it's just what I find myself singing... and always in french too, the Canadian national anthem is always in french also" But Carlos said he liked this one!

• How are you spending Christmas this year?

Paige - Christmas Eve there are two Nativities and petting zoos, Christmas day we'll go to Medieval Times restaurant as we always do.
Carlos - in a box with his family Memo - In an R.V.

• What sports clubs or activities were you active in this year?

Paige - Petting Zoos, Renaisance Faire, KBEC Groupie (radio station stalker), No organized sports or religions... unorganized... bring it on
Carlos - Work, soccer watcher
Memo - skateboarding,
Adriana is still in the Destination Imagination Group,

• Did you learn something new this year or try something new?

Paige - learned a lot about Nova... how much spare time she must have (may be time to mail her some more ducks), and how annoying she can be if you don't answer her questions...
Memo - I'm already awesome.. why would I change that?
Adriana - photography, I got crayola red highlights in my hair!

• What was a book that you read or movie that you watched and particularly enjoyed this year?

Paige - read almost a book a day unless people visit they try to steal them or mention that I have more important things to do . Saw the Twilight movie and wouldn't mind reading those books.
Adriana - Twilight, Harry Potter, Prince Caspian

• Did you reach a milestone this year? (certain age... have a child, have a child graduate or leave home...)

Paige - turned 30, Nana is officially taller than both her parents, boys got haircuts!

Memo - moved out... 1st year of Jr. High

• What do you remember about Christmas Mornings, all of them traditionally or one in particular?

Paige - it happened every year

Memo - no zoos
Adriana -every Christmas, when me, memo and tree wake up, we don't wake up my parents. We all go into memo's room and go through everything in our stockings til my parents wake up!
What are your memories of visiting Santa?
Paige - he's fast! never have caught him.. just a few glimpses as he runs past the house.
Carlos - No santa in Mexico
Adriana - WHO? He came to my school once
Memo - lumpy lap

• What memories do you have of putting up the Christmas Tree?

Paige - it was a seperate day putting it up from when we got it. Had to be watered, warm up and get trimmed to fit in the house.
Carlos - he helped to do the tree growing up
Adriana - trying to find it
Memo - it's a lot of work, the kids do it, and it's fast to take it down

• What do you remember about Christmas Eve at Grandma's on Lulie St.?

Paige - black licorice candy, egg salad sandwiches without crusts, the t.v. buttons were verticle rectangles, christmas poppers and paper hats

• What was your first Christmas away from home like?
  

Paige - There's no place like home. Never spent a Christmas homeless yet, this year was close though, if you can call an R.V. camper 'home'.
Memo - cramped, boring

• What traditions have you carried into your own family?
  

Paige - we made our own...

• Favourite Christmas Movie?

Paige - The Santa Clause trilogy with Tim Allen and I'll be home for Christmas with Jonathon Taylor Thomas
Carlos - I'll be home for Christmas

• What do you want for Christmas?

Paige - World Peace Carlos - big T.V.
Memo - go kart, nintendo DS
Adriana - A lime green sidekick slider cell phone

• What do you like for dinner if you haven't planned something and everyone is hungry?

Paige - hmmm.. bedtime!.. there's always a spicy chicken ceasar salad.
Carlos - happy to eat... pizza, mexican if it's anygood
Adriana - Macaroni and Cheese and Haystacks with Auntie Nova

• What do you consider to be a treat for yourself?

Paige - Bath.... and things for bringing up a sore subject! I do what I like ... I am a treat to others. Memo - flaming hot cheetos puffs or buffalo ranch doritos

• What was a highlight of this past year in your life or your families life... an event, an award, a vacation...?
  

Paige - Nova coming to visit... (now leave me alone), Fire, Record number of visitors in one year.... not having babies anymore had to get creative to get people to come... the fire worked but.....
Carlos - (after much coaxing), teasing Duncan that their were nuts in the Squirt pop so he wouldn't have to share it with him
Memo - going to 6 flags with the band

• What do you think of everyone meeting in a warm fun place for Christmas one year... there are 38 of us now... What a Party??

Paige - That's taking stocking stuffers to a whole new level! Warm and fun... hmmm it's really going to freeze over?
Carlos - that'd be nice
